TRIPLE FAST ACTION BREAKS UP
4.28.97
Bad news...
I have been trying to write this note for about three hours and it
never comes out right. I guess I can't write all that well when I'm
saddened by the demise of a great rock and roll band.
The rumors are true. Triple Fast Action has broken up.
Why does not really matter. Ronnie's gone, Brian (who has been
playing together with Wes for 14 years) is moving to NYC and
Double Fast Action just doesn't sound very good. When I know what
any of their plans are, I'll keep you posted.
Triple Fast Action's LAST SHOW will take place on:
Sunday, May 24th
The Metro
3730 North Clark, Chicago, IL
18+ show, doors at 11pm
(773) 549-3604
I have so much respect for TFA's ability to write and perform
such inspiring and moving music. Thanks to them, YOU and all
the people who have attended their shows and helped make
Cattlemen Don't a great success. Wes feels that Triple Fast
Action will be leaving the stage on May 24th on a high note ... and
I agree wholeheartedly.
Cattlemen Don't will not be re-pressed. So when it's gone, it's
gone. If you or your friends don't have the new TFA record, I
would suggest you get it NOW (Deep Elm has it for only $12ppd).
We also just made a new 4-panel insert that has all the lyrics
to Catlemen Don't and some live band photos (to replace the
one-sided insert in the original record). If you want one of
those, send us $1 with a note and we'll send one out to you.
You can also get a TFA tour poster or Winter Dance Party poster
for just $1 each.
Please help to spread the word. Thanks.
Man, I hate days like this.
