This gig serves as an unofficial album release party for Tripl3fastaction's debut for Capitol Records, Broadcaster. The Chicago band's Wes Kidd writes some memorable hooks to go with his classic guitar-rock tunes. And the band's appealingly raw, energetic approach ought to make Broadcaster a shoe-in for national radio play. Also on the bill are the Figgs, whose own debut for Capitol, Banda Macho, will be out this summer.
